Monthly disposable toric contact lenses are recommended for wearers that suffer from astigmatism but want to be free of glasses. Developments in the sphere of optical lens technology enable spherical aberrations on the cornea to be corrected. The result is crisp, clear and uninterrupted vision.

Most monthly disposable torics are available in powers from -10.00D to +6.00D. The range and parameters available will differ slightly according to manufacturer. Toric contact lenses will require three different parameters for each eye, these being power or sphere, cylinder and axis.

The great thing about monthly disposable torics is their durability and flexibility. As long as you are prepared to clean and store them after each use you can take them in and out at will unlike disposables, which have to be thrown away when removed.
